David Smouha Studio, Mermaid Beach
The brief. Gold Coast digital artist David Smouha had a significant body of work and a long career, but no consistent studio operation, exhibition program or collector communications.
What I did.
- Built a full studio exhibition program, including the Gods and Monsters solo show launched with BLEACH Festival in October 2026
- Launched the new studio website, with a current exhibition page and a stockroom of available work
- Built an exhibition and inventory system, including the databases behind it
- Wrote the studio's bios, website copy, artwork texts and prize entries
- Developed an Instagram strategy aimed at collectors and a serious art audience
- Entered David into prizes, including the Bindi Digital Art Prize 2026, where he was named a finalist
