Part one

For commercial galleries

Senior artist liaison and exhibition production, for a single project or a busy season, without the cost of a permanent hire.

When galleries call me

Four moments I’m called in

Contract support that slots into your team, so your represented artists get the attention they expect at the moments that matter most.

Fair season

Art fairs

Booths, budgets, hangs and long days on the floor.

Big shows

Major exhibitions

Solo and survey exhibitions with heavy production.

Institutional

Museum projects

Museum approaches, commissions and acquisitions.

During recruitment, leave or a sudden departure.

What I take off your plate

Inside your systems, under your brand

  • Day-to-day liaison for a group of your represented artists
  • Exhibition planning and production: schedules, hang plans, run sheets, freight and install
  • Artist biographies, exhibition texts, media releases and marketing collateral
  • Proposals and grant applications for artists and gallery projects
  • Public art commissions, from expression of interest to installation
  • Art fair preparation: booth budgets, proposals, hang plans and on-site presence
  • Institutional opportunities: museum approaches, collection placements and Cultural Gifts Program donations
  • Accurate artist records and project documentation in your collection management system

Why me

I've worked on every side of the gallery business

Gallerist, art fair director and public gallery director. I know what your artists, collectors and institutional partners expect.

15artists represented across 47 exhibitions at my own gallery, ID Gallery, Paddington
3cities of Affordable Art Fairs directed: Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane
100+exhibitors per fair, with over $10 million in annual sales
10years directing SECCA, a regional public gallery
$1.2M+in artworks placed in a public collection
2national prize finalist placements for a studio client in 2026

How it works

Three steps in

Every engagement is quoted to the project or the season, so you know the full cost before I start.

  1. A short call

We talk through the artists, projects and dates.

  2. A fixed quote

By the project, or for a season of cover.

  3. I start inside your team

Your systems, your brand, reporting to your director.

A safeguard built in

Your accounts stay yours

I never handle sales, payments or artist funds. Everything runs through your gallery's own accounts and processes.

Part two

For councils and public institutions

A decade inside local government, running a regional gallery through a capital redevelopment, bushfires and a pandemic.

Measured on the ground

$3.5Mcapital redevelopment directed, funded by three levels of government

Track record

A regional gallery turned into a regional catalyst

At SECCA I authored the Council's Arts and Culture Policy and the gallery's strategic plans, created festivals and art fairs that drew new visitors to the Sapphire Coast, and directed the redevelopment through bushfires, a pandemic and a builder's collapse.
