Project Two

Gangguan Tenggara - Edisi Indonesia, curated by ICP principal Iain Dawson, brought together Indonesian artists Zico Albaiquni, Eko Nugroho, and Australian-Balinese artist Leyla Stevens for a profound exploration of contemporary Indonesian art in regional Australia.

Gangguan Tenggara - Edisi Indonesia marked the culmination of the acclaimed South/East Interference series, curated by Dawson, fostering dialogue and connections between regional Australia and Indonesia's vibrant artistic landscape.

Dawson leveraged partnerships with lending institution, the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the exhibiting artists and their commercial galleries, demonstrating a strong connection to contemporary practitioners as well as public and private art institutions.

The exhibition was nominated for a 2019 Museums & Galleries of NSW IMAGINE Award.
